Embedded, IoT & firmware

Software that lives in hardware.

Firmware, device software and cloud back ends for connected products, written in C, C++ and Rust for reliability and efficiency.

In short

Embedded and IoT engineering builds the software that runs on devices and connects them to the cloud. We write firmware in C, C++ and Rust for microcontrollers and embedded Linux, implement connectivity such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LoRa and MQTT, and build the cloud back ends and mobile apps that complete the product.

Live example

Boot. Connect. Report.

A sample device boot sequence and telemetry upload.

device boot — esp32-s3
What you get

Built to hold up.

Firmware development

Bare-metal and RTOS firmware for ESP32, STM32, nRF and other microcontrollers.

Embedded Linux

Yocto and Buildroot images, drivers and device services for Linux-based hardware.

Connectivity

Bluetooth LE, Wi-Fi, LoRaWAN, cellular and MQTT, with secure over-the-air updates.

Cloud and app companions

Device management, dashboards and mobile apps for the full connected product.

FAQ

Questions we often get.

Rust offers memory safety without a garbage collector, which reduces whole classes of bugs in firmware. C and C++ remain the most widely supported choice.
